Am I too young?

Or is it just down to the number of single males on here.

Is competition too high?

Any tips or advice on how I can get more success through this site.

I'm happy to meet socially and have a drink and a chat. I feel when I say that women and couples think, "yep, heard that one before."

As a single bloke - you have to make a woman/couple/whatever want to meet you. There is no simple method of doing this - everyone is slightly different.

It's different for woman and couples - they don't have to try too hard (okay - there are always exceptions).

Best way I've found is to join in in the chat rooms. Get yourself known (for the right reasons). Maybe you'll get a social out of that and progress further.

Try meeting at clubs if you are a club-type person.

You have to consider that for every woman on this site, there are around 100 men.

Hence the need to stand out.

Disagree with your second paragraph - about it not being necessary for a single male to write much about himself.

Given the competition, I would say that's even more reason to write more - Essentially that one sentence shouts out 'I can't be bothered to make the effort'

Also think about this. Given the ratio of men to women and that most women are getting hundreds of e-mails PER DAY, what really makes you think any woman is going to have the time to write you a message to find out more about you?

They're not going to. They simply move on to the next profile.

You have to be pro-active on fab I'm afraid. You need to be messaging people, not waiting for others to get in touch with you.
