People wink other people as a way of letting them know they are interested or like their profile.
But some people dont like them so read profiles before you go winking people x |

winks are a good way of letting people know that you are interested,you can spend far too much valuable time in composing a message only for the people at the recieving end to delete it.
a wink can so easily be returned and then you know to follow up with a detailed message.
it's so easy i dont know why more people don't try it particulary as so many complain about lack of spare time?. |

being honest the last time i was on here i was up myself on winks and when i had a bad meet i threw the dummies out the pram so to speak and left and then i rejoined after a week or so lol
winking i used to hate it but thinking about it its true give a wink to say good profile and if its followed through send a message least saves you typing for ages

Personally we love winks but only from people who are within our meet criteria, ie not from single guys, TVs, TSs, Couples who "wont meet smokers" couples whose age limitations preclude us etc.
So as advised by others, always read the persons profile before winking them.
To us a wink let's us know that the person is interested in us, and, if we are interested in them we wink back, if not they know that the feelings are not mutual and we don't have to send a mail to say so, not many people enjoy sending rejection mails.
But remember if your going to wink someone they need to have some information about you in order that they can make a choice as to wether they are interested and therefore wink back or not.
So a profile without pictures or a profile with little or no information about yourself is just going to be ignored, why would they be interested in someone they know nothing about when there are so many on here that do have the necessary information.
It is also annoying because I am sure that by not winking back to people who don't have the important information in thier profile we have "sent the wrong message" to some people we would have loved to meet had we seen pictures or read information about. Now they are left thinking we are not interested in when in truth we might have been. |

we use winks just to let people know we like the look of them or the sound of them and there profile and if we get a wink back we,ll responsed with a nice mail, nothing worse than typing a long message for them not to like u and get no reply or just a thx but no thx but we can understand this isnt for every1 and thats why this scene is great lol |
