New guy who'd love a little direction

Good evening everybody.
I'm a single guy, new to the site and would really appreciate a little help.
Being a new member, this is the first post I've been permitted to add, but I've been reading the forums to try to get a feel for it and have noticed a familiar topic crop up of single guys getting a bit of a hard time. I completely understand that this is a swingers site and that it's probably not the ideal place for somebody like myself to consider being a member, but like my profile mentions, I've never been involved in swinging before and the thought of it fascinates me, so now that I'm single (have been for 6 months) it's the perfect opportunity for me to (hopefully) realise that fascination.
For the small amount of time that I HAVE been one here, most people appear to be honest and up front, so I feel it's worth spending some time to see if I can be lucky enough to eventually meet some of you.
I guess what I'm really hoping for is if anyone can spare a bit of time to have a read through my profile and give me a bit of feedback, good or bad, I'd really appreciate it.
There may be a long road ahead of me before I do eventually get to meet people, but patience is a virtue as they say, and to coin yet another phrase, nothing ventured....

the singleton be it male or female is always going to find it hard on the swing scene, as it by it's very nature it is predominately a couple's thing.
there are three key things to bare in mind at all time, politeness, respect and honesty, coupled with a good sense of humour, for the male on here it's a good idea not to appear pushy, hard nosed, or arrogant.
the best way to set out in this lifestyle is to attend any social event you can or to go to the club's and post in the forums, that way people can get to know you get a feel for who you are and what your like, there have been some good posts in the forums on the single male and swinging and I'm sure that someone will point you to them eventually.
Remember to read profiles fully, and when contacting people make it apparent that you have at least read their profile by mentioning some of the things contained within their profile.
Otherwise have fun enjoy and stay patient like they say " all good things will come to those who wait"

I agree, good profile. Maybe get some torso pics on in a nice pair of pants. Not sure if you already have that in your private gallery as yet.
Aside from that your profile would be the one to reply to.
Remember to ALWAYS read a profile before mailing the person and see if you are what they are looking for or not.
If it states they only meet under 40s then maybe best not too. Or if they have a keyword in their profile, make sure you have read it.

If I had the time and inclination I could meet three times a day, every day and I'm an acquired taste! 
To the OP, loved the profile, well written, amusing and just the right tone: you don't need to change a thing.

This is SUCH a cool website, everyone has been so kind and welcoming to me, I'm actually a bit overawed and humbled to be honest, I really didn't expect this kind of reaction, what a cool bunch of people you are.

Yeah fair point, I'm sure there'll be quite a few who'll second that, that's the way things go these days, I'm just going by what I've experienced so far, which has been fantastic! Even if I don't get to meet anyone, it's been a pleasure just chatting to those who have responded to me.
What's the saying? You only get out what you put in (quite an apt phrase in fact!) and I wouldn't mind betting those that give negative feedback haven't given enough effort. |

I agree with what alot of others have said. Your profile is perfect. It tells us about you and also what you're looking for.
Also loving your banter on the forum and not to mention what's been happening since we 'got a room' as we were politely told a few days ago LOL.
To coin another phrase.... make hay while the sun shines!! |
