Completely agree, although some "dom"men aassume they can play that way on a first meet and don't like the idea of waiting, or seem to understand amber and red phrases.

Some dom men are just bullies, and have a sadistic twist which is fine if you trust and have worked out the boundaries in advance. Any guy tries that with me on a fab meet is likely to find himself without a playmate. I don't sub to anyone I do not trust. |

Me thinks too many folk read "that book" and then they are Dom, sub etc. Leave Ds and bdsm to those who get it, and did it before it was cool. Free advice go to a munch and talk about it. Enter the dungeons at your peril  |

That book has caused so many problems! So many people think being dom is just rough sex/spanking hence why a lot of the time people who say they are dom can often put off those who may be sub/interested in exploring that side of things - well in my opinion anyway.
Dom/Sub is to be built up over time, trust is the main factor, as without it, how can you push boundaries etc.
That said, the dom/sub relationship if between 2 people that click that way can be a wonderful thing. having had similar relationships in the past i can vouch for just how satisfying they can be, but they are also rare. |
