Im just sick of having to scroll through pages of skinny people who would not be interested in the fuller figure and my fella wants us to find a couple who share the same interests as us, having a section would make it easier for all

The term BBW has always made me uncomfortable. Being big does not make someone beautiful the same as being thin does not make someone attractive. I'd like to think if someone calls me beautiful they would think the same whether I was fat or thin

Too many none curvy and none bbws class themselves as so just for the attention I think. It's all about different people's perception of bbw and such too. It's all about height, size and shape not just oh you're an 18 you're a bbw cause at say 5ft10 this wouldn't be the case IMHO x

It isn't just peoples perception of what they feel is classes as BBW though. Alot of women look in the mirror and see someone looking back at them who is far larger than they actually are.

It's another one of those suggestions that while good in principle, would never work in reality.

Person a describes herself as BBW

Person b doesn't agree when he/she has searched through the profiles.

Each persons description of themselves or others is very subjective and would be impossible to implement into a bracketed category within a website.

Ive ticked large in my description box.if there was a bbw description I would tick it I have no problem with the description however my interpretation of bbw is just a larger woman not 'beautiful as beauty is in the eyes if the beholder

bbw was a word that first came from a fashion magazine to describe larger ladies that model.it is now a widely used description of larger ladies which is more pleasant than using the word fat.

I personnely dont like the term skinny I would rather call people slim and thats already in the descriptions on fab

its very easy to find larger ladies on fab if they have pictures.people dont have any trouble finding me

Think it would just be easier if you could narrow down the search to body preference like they have done with ethnicity then it's up to you to find some who is attractive to you out of that section. Just my opinion.

But unlike with ethnicity which is pretty much set in stone what's one persons curvy is another womans slim. Or would you like admin to employ someone to set peoples body type based on pics? At the same time wave goodbye to a fantastic free site!

Maybe they shouldn't take things too seriously, after all this is meant to be a site about having fun. Besides if i'm looking for a mini in auto trader i go straight to the mini section, so much easier than looking through the whole book or site xx

I get why people would want it but as I said I'd much rather be met for reasons other than ticking a box for them.

What I often wonder is how much work people expect admin to do when the majority of the site is free to use.

Is it really any more work separating guys from tv's/ ts. After all technically tv's are men. So surely its not difficult adding a box for bbw. Some peeps need to realise that this is not a dating site but a sex site where others will want to meet certain types of people for just sex!!! As for being a site supporter, for the record i have been one and i'm currently one on my couple profile. xx

A TV/TS is completley different to wanting someone purely based on their size! And I am fully aware what the site is for and do not and would not treat this as a dating site! If people want to meet me purely based on my size at least I know they have made a bit of effort to find me. Body size is purely a personal thing and some contributors have already stated it has to be for just "us". It would be interesting to see it implemented purely to see how long it would take someone to moan that people are not using the body type choices accurately.

I wasn't having a dig about the site supporter thing, infact I haven't even looked at your profile so I wouldn't know. My point is this site is completly functional without paying a penny. And even as a site supporter is very cheap, but people are always wanting more

No, no and thrice no, this is an awful idea.

I don't want to be forced into a separate area of the site. I'm perfectly happy with how the site is and to be honest never struggled in finding fun on here.

If you start sectioning the site up it would become totally disconnected.....

If you can't find what you're looking for on here, look at how you are using the site because it works just fine for the majority of user.

I think it's a good idea it should be set so that you can choose the BBW catergory or not. There is a lot of men and woman that love BBW, I'm definitely one. A beta version of this could easily be set up.

I'm a BBW size 22 now I personally don't think it's a good idea.

When Paul met me he had never been with a BBW so wouldn't of ever clicked a box for BBW, he fancied my face, he saw me and realised he had to have me (his words) many men may not particularly go for BBW but are attracted to woman who then Just happen to be BBW.

Really it's a sex site?? Wow didn't know that!! What I was trying to get across is that just because a BBW isn't someone's normal type doesn't mean they won't play with one. We wouldn't tick a box as we go for facial looks rather than body types.

Haven't read the previous posts but I just wanted to say this: Do what you love and love what you do. Whatever that may involve. Slim, white, men, bjs, etc etc. No one is forcing anyone to go for something that doesn't really do it for them.

Personally, I'd rather play with myself than have sex with someone who just wants a shag and is not really into big women. It's sooooo much more enjoyable when you can feel/tell that the guy is actually turned on *because* you're fat!

Which brings me nicely to my final point of: I don't like the term "bbw". I don't even like the term "curvy". Or "voluptuous", etc. Fat is fat. I'm not ashamed of how I am. In fact, I love it! So, I call myself fat, because that's what I am. Same as a tall person is "tall" and not "long"

Couldnt agree with you more. Finally i have found someone who shares the same _iews as me. Its gets right up my nose when they say they want to meet me because im a bbw. I would be the same person whether i was a bbw, average or slim person. I want a guy to meet me because of me, my personality etc not my size

To me it seems pretty simple! We all have personal preferences - and the beauty of fab is that there's something/ someone for everyone - and we wouldn't want it any other way!

On sites like pof you can put body type in the search (i.e browse) engine, along with a huge list of other preferences.

Isn't the answer - therefore - simply to ask fab to work on refining their search engines? However - we might need to be prepared to pay slightly more for our sight support should the site get 'slicker'! Xx
