I think unfortunately you just have to be patient. Last time I was on the site it took about 3 months before my first meet. I don't think there's a magic formula, just don't be a dickhead, whinge (seems to be on a number of threads), try and take part in the discussions so people can see you're interesting and keep up what you're doing. |

Some people don't like messages that ask if they want to chat straight away no matter how polite,It can put them on the spot when they may just want to go away and have a think about it and look properly at your profile,or if its a couple sometimes they like to both look at someone and then decide together if they want to respond

yeh its a minefield out there,you just have to be patient and bide your time,i dont rush or pressure anybody,im a cheeky chappy and sometimes a naughty one liner or a flirty comment breaks the ice,but like mr chingford,im always very polite,friendly and non pushy. |

It does take time. I had a couple of meets within a week or so of joining, but that soon dried up ! Some people just want to chat and be friends, nothing more. Hopefully like you, with time, I will reap the fruits of the site |
