Hiya all, I'm Ben from Southampton have chatted to lots of women and couples over the weeks but who honestly appreciates the wink. I like sending them and yet I'm thinking what's the point? What do they achieve if anything? Sometimes I'm browsing when it's late at night and use them instead of spending ten minutes typing a well thought out message or used as passing wink the same as if stood at a bar and someone gorgeous has just made eye contact! Ps Is it just men who send them I've loads  |

i don't mind getting winked at if it is from someone who knows me...
but usually its from someone who has looked and thought 'well i'll chance it as i'm not what she's looking for but who cares (as they obviously don't!!)'
to sum it up i think they are a waste of time

Yes I can see that if you have the winker on your friends list then it could be a bump, but I'd just message because if we'd been chatting I'd known the feel good buttons to type to you. I've not responded to most winks and yes because it's not what I'm looking for but I've left my profile as open as possible to have a wide range of contact ie friends of friends could be perfect? Excellent that a female does take notice of them as well x  |

Never look at winks! I dont intend to be rude but I dont see the point so take no notice of them!
To be honest, I am not even that sure of the point of the friends thing either really, other than to picture share maybe..but you can send photos privately to people anyway.
I generally just message privately and chat that way or via a forum like this if there is an interesting disucssion. .

Instead of winking, I'll tend to add someone to my hotlist and when I've had time to look at their profile properly, see if I'm likely to be a good match and spend time composing a decent first message and sending my best face pics.
Then find that they've deleted it within 10 minutes. |
