If the kids go school then wait till september and i suggest you do the meets during day.. Or drop kids at a friends house for the day/night.. I agree that youll have no problems getting meets.. If you accom when kids not around then great and good idea with the club being to much when starting.. Doubt ive given good advice but happy swinging! |

We started at a club but we made sure we went to one with good reviews and a very good social side to it. With play well away from the social areas it was just like going to a nice bar and then we had a nice relaxed look around and went from there.
Good luck and go at your own pace. |

Take your time. Go to a club, weve never felt pressured to play at a club or otherwise. Go at your own pace. Try soft play or same partner play in front of others. Just enjoy the experience.
Wouldnt wait till kids leave home, if anything like ours youll be drawing your pension. Have fun xx |

Try and get to the lodge social on a Wednesday evening . Ideal for a new couple to get a feel for the scene and no pressure .
Gloucester isn't far and even if you only stay for an hour or two at least you will have dipped your toes |
