A rideout is always a good idea - our current fave is Llangollen (bacon butty) - Bala - Dolgellau - Aberystwyth (lunch) - Rhayader - Welshpool - Oswestry and back.. |

I have couple of friends who said the diversion was great for shorter ladies. But it all comes down to inside legs....I can't even find leathers to fit me, the knee protections come down to my shins ffs! Hahaha. Its going to be a custom made job I think! |

South coast biker here..have just had to get a car last year as 17 years of all year round biking has taken its toll on the bike and me...still love it and them.(1200 and 600 bandit)  |

I agree your 535 is cute, better colour than mine, but remember the seat on the 1100 is the same height as the 535 so if you get brave enough or strong enough to try 220kg + fuel instead of 170 + less fuel... go for it...
On a different note; your legs maybe short, but from what i have seen - perfectly formed ! |

small tip if you are doing it make sure you get it all booked nice and early as a lot of people book next years accomodation at the same place when they are over there |

Its not so much the size of the bike, its the seat height thats the problem. The gsxr 400 is still too high at 71cm (27") My Virago is perfect although to be completely comfy I'd have to get it slightly lowered as I am on my tiptoes Thanks for the advice and suggestions! |

depends on how much it needs lowering but if it isnt much you can sometimes have the seat restuffed with less foam and the shape altered to lower it have a peek at lustracing who do lowering kits and aubreyniceuphostelry for some ideas about re making the seat |

That ride that bobnfluffy are on about has done great roads on it down the talyllyn pass through corris to Mach then on to Aberystwyth then the road over to Rhydar then on to Newtown via crossgates. Great roads, I presume that when they say Llangollen they are starting from the ponderosa, but great roads then travel that way a lot down to my caravan in Aberystwyth,

Ah You are all making me jealous.All those great roads. Still - we have the mighty Antrim Coast Road and the Mournes so all is not lost! Open invitation - if anyone is thinking about coming over on bikes let me know Would be happy to help with routes and advise on accomodation. Might even be able to put you up myself - as long as you don't all arrive at once!!  |

We start in Chester - down the 483 for a bacon and black pudding batch and a brew at the Tollgate cafe between Llangollen and Corwen, before going on as described....ab fab...we could always arrange for the bikers to meet at the Toll Gate one day |

Greetings from the states! I've been a hardcore rider for 36 yrs. I have 3 bikes, a 1936,1972,and a 1981 Harley davidsons all. |

Do you guys have poker runs in europe? They are alot of fun, especially when on the road with literally hundreds of harleys all at once. It makes the ground shake and pussies get wet. One of the girls I hook up with calls my '72 Harley the Milwaukee vibrator. It is heavily modified and eats cbr's and ninjas for lunch |

If the weather stays fine off out for a ride in Thursday, up the coast I think, need to know how long it will take me to get to colwyn bay before I go on the bike safe course next week |

I miss my bike sold it n got a car. Developed arthritis in the sterno-clavicular (collarbone to chest bone) joint. Not even my trusty Yam TDM900 was easy to ride.

Would these be cbr125s? Would have loved to see a Harley trying to keep up with a pair of 600s let alone the liters
Been through a cbr600f3 and an r6 in the last year and just got a vfr800 yesterday, going to take some getting used to being so sat up.
is it wrong that I miss the back/wrist ache of the sport 600a lol |

Usually word of mouth. Established meets etc.. I tend to do my own thing so hopefully others can enlighten you.

We go out fairly often for the day, espeacially now the weather's getting better...we should just post on here where we're going to be at what time and people can meet up if they want (the Pondie at 10:00 on Sunday, sort of thing)
