How far back to go
I left school at 16 and went to work in a factory
It was mainly on 2 floors but there was a basement storage area for.old equipment and an upper 4th floor that was an old showroom Site with products there, beds and bedroom.and office furniture.
The 3rd floor was offices that didn't do overtime or weekends...
I was known as a kitter, putting items together to be welded, painted and constructed at different times.
So I had complete run of the site.
There was an old style lift with manual sliding doors one metal the other like a chain link inner door
Among the staff were several quite older women on different jobs. Mainly small item construction stitching and such bit 1... she was older and worked all over sweeping and doing dirty jobs.
She was skinny, skanky, often looked dirty in her overalls but often didn't wear much underneath and this would show... |

So there were several young lads there late teens early 20's and we'd play up and there would be dares or bets made and they would range from stupidity to some stuff more daring. A couple of the older lads would talk about wanting to have some fun with Lesley, that was her name, but were all mouth. So they'd put her down, Chav, Used to be a Pro, local bike, but really they were just covering for their lack of bottle.
This made me think seriously about how far she might go if I tried my luck.
Now she's in her late 40's early 50's and I'm just 17. Very inexperienced but hell let's have a go at it |

So Lesley wouldn't often work overtime which included Saturday mornings most weeks and occasionally full days on Saturday and Sunday. These were skeleton crewed with very few senior management and only a couple of Foremen covering the whole factory.
So the chance was there!! |

We had a Saturday morning at the end of the week and those guys would be offered the full weekend the following week.
There was a holiday break coming up so Lesley put her name forward and was put on
I worked most of them and made sure I was included.
On the Saturday morning and asked the foreman if I could have Lesley to give me a hand as we had a lot of kits to put together.
The workload wasn't anything I couldn't have covered myself really but he agreed.
I went and waited for Lesley to come out of the women's changing room to tell her.
When shencame out I told her she was to come.and help me. The other women gave her some stick about not harming me, don't break him, don't scare him off, the usual work banter and a little bit more as it was normal back then.
She actually blushed and told them all to Fuck Off...
We walked off together and she qas actually laughing at them but blushing!!!
So I said we've got a whole load of kits to put together and the first thing would be to go to the basement and find some of the large metal containers that we would need for the various kits.
These were heavy and could only be moved with manual trucks to lift and roll them.
What she didn't know was I'd worked my arse off on Friday afternoon and had made sure there was enough kits to.keep the guys upstairs busy for most of the morning |
