Hi all, I've always wondered if people read these and, if so, why? Is it to spot new friends, cause you like giving advice, or just cause you've read all the other forums but aren't ready to log off yet!

Need to know basis

Would you not welcome someone new into a club?

Of course! Just wondered though as most posts on this forum have very low response rates and wasn't sure if most people even bothered with this forum.

Most people don't bother with the forums, less than 1% of site users post and around 1-2% read them

I guess I am part of the lonely, jobless, bored users that spend far too much time on Forums!! This is a joke by the way....Phew!

I like intros because I never use the search option...my way of findout about new members, otherwise you have to (I think) go to the profile and find out when they joined...tedious!

If you are new to Fabs...Welcome and happy swinging!

I've been on Fab for ages but had never been able to work out if it was worth posting on this particular forum. Glad I did now though, two nice welcomes and an interesting forum usage stat from Admin !

I welcome and advise as I know how difficult it can be for newbies. It's polite and makes them feel apart.

I understand that from a posters POV, just never been sure from a readers POV. Nice to see a few people saying they read and reply to help and welcome people though.

Guess more women don't post here as it's just another route for 500 messages and winks to hit them within 5 mins of signing up!

I was thinking of a swingers chat forum post asking what the most annoyingly recurring topics are but was worried it'd been done to death and would end in a downward spiral of flaming and irritation!
