How do people like the first message, soft or naughty and direct??

Always bothers me how to break the ice as some want just a genuine message but others want to you stand out. It that mean in a dirty perv way though as I’m sure that’s of putting sometimes too, so what is it??? Xx

If someone sends me a really crude 1st message, it's a delete.

I'd much prefer something that shows they've read my profile and are interested in me as a person.

I really like the ones that read : " hi ....." Don't know why. Maybe it's the mystery of where it will go or perhaps it's the way so much passion is packed into such a short message.

I'm the past, I'd have said a first message should be respectful, authentic & personal to the person who is sending it (reflective of them as a person & what they bring to an interaction).
