They only have firefighters in the RAF & they're not soldiers! The young man is clearly confused as to his occupation which may lead to complications when he goes on patrol with a fire hose in tow.... |

Since he started the thread a week ago, he hasnt added anything since!
He's clearly realised he's messed up with his dreams and is keeping well away for awhile lol.
Hoping the dust will settle......
What kind of leave??
Never heard of it and I'm still serving!

I'm not serving anymore but it's not some new fangled thing they tell you before joining up is it? Before you start your basic? And everyone's just totally roasted him for it hahaha

Maybe he is only allowed to travel a certain distance, or he only has a certain length of time? |

Spot on...Depends it you count the Green Goddess drivers though..or am I showing my age...(I'm ex RN was on the green goddess in the late 70's !!)
