If Apple wrote intro emails...

... Now I'm not claiming to be a comic genius but I think some of my intro emails have been alright; just the right side amusing I hope. I am a bit concerned though that my messages have been misread as idiotic when the tone I was going for was witty.

I know one persons gag is another persons "what a knob" statement but would you suggest avoiding humour?

If you have got a message from me, I'd be keen for your opinion... Oh... Please don't be coy. I'm a grown up. I can take criticism.

swindon

I think some humour is good just as long as it's not too "out there".

Messages without any attempt at humour are flat and uninteresting.

Humour is good.

Write messages that represent who you are. If they don't appeal to someone then you probably wouldn't get on with them anyway.

We're all different and there's no one size fits all approach.
