Only message profiles if you meet their preferences (both the tick boxes and what they've written). Tell them how you match their preferences and how they match yours, basically provide context for your message but don't write an essay.
There are other things that work like telling them something that is intriguing about you, or something that might make them laugh or that you can bond over.
One size doesn't fit all but a lot of people put effort into their profile and the last thing they want is for it to be ignored. |
