I have had a few ladies on here ask me to pay money before a meet. They say it's for their safety. A few say let's go halfs on hotel. Send me half. These are people I never met before. I understand and respect ladies need to feel safe.

   How can money make them feel safe...that's a little fked up.
A guy I know received a first msg this morn & she just said... "My visa is running out. Can you pay for me to renew it" |

It is a little worrying that you feel the need to ask advice from complete strangers whether you should give money to complete strangers
In all seriousness, you should be savvy enough to know not to give money away to people you do not know. |

Playing devils advocate here
I kind of understand asking for contribution of hotel costs as there are so many no shows, so if someone was prepared to pay half in advance I'd have more confidence they were genuine
But I'd ask for copy of the receipt, proof that they've paid upfront & it's not something they can cancel last minute, therefore scamming you
I'd also say if they are an old account, verifications & photos over a number of years it's likely to be people tired of being caught out themselves & trying to cover their back with the hotel costs, I've been done myself paid for hotel was happy to pay for it myself arranged to meet 3 guys over 2 days all cancelled from a few days before to 10 minutes before
I'll never offer to cover the hotel costs myself upfront again |
