Hey. I was wondering if there are any hints and tips to the best intro message. I’ve never been great at things like this and it’s disheartening when you find a woman or couple you think is a good match, you message them, they read it and nothing in return. Help?? |

You could try searching the forum for 'first message' or 'opening message' for the dozens of other threads on the subject and seeing what advice has been guven on the subject |

There isn’t a magic message. What some like, others won’t. We can’t stand when we get the big sell about what they want to do but do like the pleasant, respectful chaps that realise we’re inviting them in to our relationship for a short time. Others like it vice versa. If someone comes across as dominant or ‘alpha’ in their profile or message, we wouldn’t be interested (but others would). If we’re not looking at that particular time though or we’re speaking to another thats going well, we won’t reply just because we don’t want to waste someone’s time. It’s the right message at the right time unfortunately with us and probably many others. |

"Nobody likes a clever dick"
Search, read and then interact in the forum. Being a clever dick is actually a good shout, as there’s a wealth of old threads that have more info than a new one is likely to generate.
Send messages based on forum threads and try to strike up genuinely interesting convos off the back of that, and see if it takes you anywhere.
Ease in the cheekiness, and flirting if it feels appropriate. But most of all, assume nothing is going to come of it anyway.
Improved my ratio of first messages converting into convos no end. |

OP....first off, for a lot of people receiving your message, the number of cock pics and no real info about yourself, will mean they don't bother to read or reply to you no matter how good your message is.
Secondly....there is no magic message. Read profiles, find stuff that you find interesting and mention it in your message. Tell them something about you so they have a chance of replying. The number of messages we get asking us how we are, what we're doing, how our day's been .... it's just boring. Someone messages us and tells us something genuinely interesting about themselves and we tend to reply.
Eg...we're meeting a guy next week who messaged us and pointed out that he owned a toy shop. Char has kept all her childhood toys, instantly she wanted to talk to him. We're meeting another guy because his public pics show him playing guitar in a band....instant click for Char who loves live music.

Read the profile of the people you're interested in and tailor your message to suit it. Understand that yours will probably be just one of many messages they get every day and they can't reply to all of them. Only the best/most suitable will get a response but that doesn't mean you're doing anything wrong. |
