Hi. I’ve got some great camera equipment prior to lockdown but didn’t use it much. So I’m looking to take some photos to start to improve my technique.
If anyone around the Midlands would like to help/model etc I’d be grateful. Also if anyone has knowledge they can share I’d be happy to discuss.
Just the usual shots in a hotel room maybe. I’ll pay for the room and happy to share pictures afterwards of course.
Thanks.

Try doing street photography to fine tune your techniques and feel more at ease when shooting ppl, most armature to the professional models tend to work with togs with a full frame camera as well, you can get some older models that still take amazing pictures for less than £500 secondhand and these are better than most cameras you would £1300 or more for brand new.
They are sites for model, photographers ect but you would end up paying for services most the time and may rules to follow when you use these sites, hope this was some help |

Decide what it is you want to photograph. there's a great series BBC at the moment "Great British Photography Challenge" with Rankin. Some very interesting ideas for beginners and established photographers alike.
If you're after shooting more glamour/adult themes without a portfolio you're not going to be getting anywhere quick. Your own pics leave a lot to be desired, self portraits are literally the first assignment on most photography courses. Get it set up on a tripod, learn about intervalometers or self timers, and show us what you're capable of.
And you need to be clear if it's photography only, or a meet you're looking to do. Be up front and honest from the start. |

Site with rife guys claiming to be photographers, there is more to photography than taking pictures. If you are serious then you'll study techniques, lighting, perspective and framing. Have a look round for photographers who run workshops in your area.

Why do you say photography is dead? Very strange comment to make.

On the BBC series (The channel, nothing else...) They had to go into a boxing gym with nothing but a smartphone and take pictures. Some of what was produced was amazing. But it shows photography is more about composition, light and telling a story than a fancy camera. |

You are right to a certain degree as mobile phone cameras have come a long way and even famous togs are getting hired by apple to create a series of images for them, but a pro full frame camera or an old school large format will always be able to do a lot more than a phone and push boundaries in photography i feel |

Street is very different to portrait and glamour. I’ve been doing street in busy African cities using prime lens so you have to move more, interact with strangers and get up close but you have to be fast and respond. Portrait and glamour is more staged and planned and uses light. I’m using a mirror less 4/3 it’s just easier than carrying full frame |
