I can't remember exactly when or how I first found fab.
It could have been google, but it's so long ago that it was quite possibly yahoo or Ask Jeeves. Maybe even AOL or Compuserve.
I was fab which, back in the naughty nineties, lead me to my first mfm 3some (not a wonderful experience), my first one to one swinger meet (sex on the back seat in a multi storey car park) and my first (and best) dogging experience.
Then around 2000, I entered into a 10 year long term relationship and respected my wifes preference for monogamy (besides which since I was getting it regularly, I didn't need to look elsewhere although looking back, since she has recently become a swinger, maybe we should have thought it through a bit more)
Then when I became single again, (some 10 years ago now) fab lead me to my first swingers club visit. The club closed a long time ago which is a shame as although it was a bit strange, a bit cliquey and had no dress down policy, it was clearly loved by the regulars.
So, over the last ten years or so, I've been very busy working but have had the occasional "experience".
I've been on and off fab several times. To be honest, I find fab to be great for keeping in touch with the general swinging scene. The forums are interesting, the club listings are vital, as are the event listings.
I do find features such as meet me today to be almost worthless on fab and indeed I have had as much success at finding an ONS on POF as I have on fab.
Some 6 years ago now, I visited my local club. To be fair, without the fab listings, I would never have found the club. However, I do find that actually getting off my backside, turning off the computer, going for a drive and ending up at my local club has resulted in far more orgasms than I have achieved from driving round empty car parks or sending random messages to someone across the interweb.
So, in short, fab is a part of the swinging scene in the UK, but it doesn't guarantee a fuck.
Hope that helps. |
