Persuading is still shaky. You need her to be enthusiastically on board of her own volition. Not to please you, not because she's been pressured or manipulated.
She has to want to, for her. And if she doesn't, you need to respect that entirely. |

Training is not the right route for this. You need to sit down and discuss it between yourselves and gauge her reaction carefully. Things could turn bad for you very rapidly if it is not something she would like. Good luck. |
