We are site silver supported and have the availablitiy to see who has looked at our profile.
Within the settings of this option we can (we are told) opt out of appearing on other peoples "looked at me" list. We have ticked that box.
So if we were to look at someones profile then according to the setting they should not see that we have looked at them.
HOWEVER, we have noticed many times that when we have looked at someones profile, maybe someone miles away, then within a short space of time we find that THEY have looked at out profile. It's happened too much to be co-incidence, so does the opt-out of appearing on other profiles actually work or is there a fault in the software??

We've checked and it's working fine.
Reason we ask is that some people think that that can turn off before viewing a profile, have a peep then turn on again. System doesn't work that way.

My profile is hidden at the moment and has always been set to hide me from looked at me lists, however, the people on my looked at me list are people I've looked at first (when perusing the gallery mainly). Are you sure there's no bug? I don't show up in searches and I don't have newly uploaded pics in the gallery so how are these people looking at my profile if not via their own looked at me list? Seems like a very big coincidence does it not? |

hmm my post here and a verification i left on someones profile a while ago being unhidden seems to have attracted me some attention so Ive now got a whole new set of people in my looked at me list which aren't the ones i was thinking of lol will pm admin if i see it happening again, thanks  |

Maybe the people who are viewing your profile are clicking on the 'who's online' tab on the home page
If they are working down that list it's not so much a coincidence. you're both online so would show at or near the top maybe |
