Message unread/non existent?

As above.. it shows '1 message' unread but there is no message ..?

It drives me mad flashing on top. Is this some glitch?

If your on the newer mail box try changing back to the old. Last resort delete all but unread. I have that issue from time to time and the above sort it

maybe the message concerned went over the 200 cut off and then scrolled into fab obscurity, delete all present messages then scroll back
