Reporting a profile

If I report a profile for being abusive or naming/shaming etc, is it an automated block or do I have to block ?

the report will go to admin, and if you wish you can block but it wont block automatic

how do i report someone for being abusive when that person has blocked me?

the same click on the profile left hand side you can still report even if ya blocked

you can do as Richy has said, or go to your block list page, type in their profile name and it will add them to it

The two suggestions above, or if you have exhanged a mail you can report them from that itself.
