" I perhaps forgot to mention that my partner is a t-girl, which there’s no couple category for. So to be labelled an MF couple is inaccurate. | |||

X Well reading the text toy are a couple looking for people to meet you both so it seems about right. " To state the obvious, it’s absolutely not ‘about right’. I am by definition a transwoman, not a woman, not a man and that is the definition I choose. Therefore branding me male or indeed female is not only inaccurate and fairly insulting to me but it’s also fairly insulting to standard M or F’s who I am sure wish to identify separately to myself. There’s a really important point made here ‘someone’s reported the profile’, after many years on fab this doesn’t surprise me. As with the real world there’s a lot of bigotry aimed at the trans community and I am sure the report is based on the fact the thought that myself and Ann are together in their head is wrong so for kicks, their amusement or indeed cheap laughs they reported the profile. What surprises me is that Fab as a site supports that. The most accurate category for us both is tgirl and female separately. That’s the way people find us and as Ann’s profile clearly states she’s looking for both bi men and bi females therefore she is filtered out of non bi searches etc. Unless fab launch a FT couple profile that would suit us both then we should remain as we stand. My profile hasn’t been changed to a couple as it would actually be a breach of my rights to term me a male despite the fact I am genetically a man. The same should apply to Ann as in forcing her into a MF category you are incorrectly identifying who I am. I’d be extremely grateful if an admin could look at this and get it addressed please as in reality it is ‘unintentionally quite insulting’ to myself and my identity in its current form.
