Do either of the above time out does anyone know? If so what's the time span? I dont delete either as the same person only resend both, however iv started getting both from users that have sent before. Iv checked and the accounts are not new and I know you cannot retract either |

"Not sure, we decline and if they are sent again we just block. Harsh way of doing things but it stops people sending them over and over. "
Very true but I found they just make new accounts after so long, doing nothing with requests seems to prolong it |

I think a lot of people send friend requests for the equivalent of adding you to a hotlist, having never made contact with you (others just want wank fodder).
I sometimes wink, if I think there may be a potential there) but don't typically delete them - guess it saves ever getting hassled again, if they can't be bothered to communicate properly.
Perhaps the site would be better discouraging friend requests, if there's never been contact - or just automatically forcing them to message you, whilst preventing the friend request. |

It's a shame people don't get more out of the wink function, wink at someone, if they like your profile, you get a wink back then you message - it seems to me to be a more logical way to ascertain if someone is actually interested in hearing from you before you waste time crafting an awesome opener that then languishes unread for all eternity. |
