We sometimes delete messages, if they are in the ‘sent’ box, after a day or two.
Have had replies a few days later, with our original message in the thread.
I think it only removes it from your side. |

If you delete the message it will not be deleted from the recipient's inbox regardless of whether it was read or not when you've deleted it.
If someone deletes their profile all the messages from that profile are deleted too. |

Not unread ones they are still there even if the profile has gone. |
