We notice that none site supporters can have up to twelve pictures on their profile at any one time.. What seems very strange is that only three can be uploaded in one day... Im sure there must be a reason for this but is it totally lost on us.. Very strange indeed..  |

Not really an incentive though if all you have to do is wait 24hrs to upload another 3!? Just think the 3 in one day rule seems a little pointless to say the least..... Nevermind though, its nothing major...  |

It makes it easier to support free membership. Lets say we have 1000 new users a day (which we do, more or less) and every one of those uploaded 12 photos, that would be 12,000 new photos to store (pretty much for ever) and for mods to go through and approve. With the 3 a day limit, the maximum they'll upload on day 1 is 3,000 photos (1/4).
Now, out of those 1000 new users, a LOT will simply never visit the site again after the first day. The 3 a day "throttle" ensures that those who stick with the site can upload some each day, but that those who come... and never come back... don't put a burden on the site/mods.
And that is why.
