Can anyone shed any light on why I can't get any sound on my Mac when Im in a chat room using either Safari or Chrome?
I'm a techie, so have tried all the obvious things. Have sound in everything else in Safari and Chrome, just not the chat rooms. |

Sound only works if the person has their mic switched. Most people don't switch theirs on. If they have it on there will be a speaker icon to the right of their name |

Yes, all correctly installed and working. Tried different browsers too including Chrome, but nothing seems to work.
Maybe I'm doomed to a chat life of silence! |
