I received this PM the other day, could someone please explain what I'd done wrong. Also how could I attempt to contact someone who has blocked me, it's impossible to do so?

We've given you a 48hr timeout on the forums for trying to contact people who have blocked you. The blocks are there for a reason and we have zero tolerance of this.
The forum timeout will expire automatically.

Blocks dont apply on the forum, so a person whos blocked you or who you have blocked can still see each other and interact via the forums? They just can pm each other or see each others profiles.
Have you recently interacted on a forum with someone youve been blocked by? Some use the forums to get around blocks. |

The ban refers to something you said on the forum to someone who has you blocked from mailing them
Asking someone to unblock you
Asking someone to drop their filters so you can message them
Hinting with something like "shame I can't message you"
Asking why someone has blocked you all comes under that ban  |
