Message filters not working!

Ever since I set my filters to block anyone without public pics on their profile from messaging me it hasn't worked. This has been going on for well over six months.

I've asked loads of guys how they've managed to message me and I think only one has admitted to quickly setting one of his pics to public, messaging, then re-setting to friends only. The rest all swear innocence - they can't all be lying?!

I already tried messaging admin about this shortly after I realised there was a problem and nothing happened. Is this happening to anyone else?

That’s exactly what they do op. It’s a useless filter really as it’s easily bypassed.

Manchester (she/her)

It's only a useful filter for those willing to respect boundaries.

When I had it up I blocked anyone with no public pictures (as in, if they messaged me and no pictures were public, I blocked them summarily). I don't bother now.

I do this too (I do warn people about it in my profile so their fault if they don't read it) but would be nice if the filter did what it was supposed to...

The filter does work but is easily bypassed. I've seen it done when a message landed in my inbox I clicked on the profile right away and there was one public pic. I've clicked on it to have a look and within seconds clicked back to read the profile. As I clicked back the public pic dissapeared. It was set back to private within seconds of sending the message.
