Having been on Fab for a few years now and being used to Windows updates, browser updates, webcam firmware updates, I now can’t get my cam to work with any browser, must be time to leave Fab and join somewhere where the tech will actually work? |

Using an up to date PC, up to date windows and McAfee, Mozilla Firefox and tried Google Chrome, up to date Logitech webcam, all worked fine, but no recognition of a webcam since yesterday.
Something must have conflicted recently?

Have you checked your browsers settings? make sure that in Permissions fabswingers has access to your camera, and hasn’t ended upon the settings blocked list |

Hi, might have sorted out the no cam issues.
Local broadband speed had dropped severely, enough that the cam wouldn’t work, when trying everything I deleted Mozilla Firefox and just used the Microsoft Edge that you get with Windows 10 (you don’t even need to download the latest version of Adobe flash, it’s there already, you just click allow once) and I was back up and running, not fault in Fabs I.T. just crappy updates and slow local broadband!
