I have fat fingers and annoyingly i quite often press on the avatar when opening a message and quite often have not wanted to view the profile. Then you get approached because people think that you fancy them!
The other side is that you look like a stalker.
I have tried being more careful but would it not be possible to restrict avatars when in messaging mode, if we want to look at their profile then click on the username...??
I just dont want to give wrong impressions!! |

I have often read on forum posts that women diliberately read the profile before reading the message. That is exactly what you are doing OP.I have never understood the logic of doing that mind you. |

"I have often read on forum posts that women diliberately read the profile before reading the message. That is exactly what you are doing OP.I have never understood the logic of doing that mind you."
It could be because most of the time you can read the full message without opening it.

I've bought myself some touch pens as keep pressing the wrong letters when typing. I know it's not what you're asking for but still could help.

Or because you want to see if there are any mutual interests before replying and breaking your filters. Surely that's logical? |

Absolutely. Regarding the filters though - is it not the case that if they've messaged you they've gone around the filters already? So whether replying or not makes no difference anymore to any future filters?

By messaging they havent broken filters if there aren't any in place for that demographic. By replying, you break future filters you may wish to apply. Hence why in the faq section it also states no reply, no interest. |

As a a rule of thumb I like it when people look at my profile, but unless they also wink (or fab a pic), I never assume that I can make contact. None of these scenarios happens often; I’m happy to linger, to hope, and contribute to forums. |

I would to make it clear I specifically clicked on your profile because I liked the profile picture. |

It's simple! Distance, age, height, blog, veris, pictures all give you a better picture before you have to read the message! Why I prefer winks ... I'll wink back to indicate whether I actually want to chat with a person after I've checked them out! |
