Users sending fake photos

Looking for some advice
I reported an account that sent us fake photos last night via a message in response to us sending face pictures. We always reverse image search images to out the chancers.
I reported the account to admin and blocked the user but their account is still active today.
We also updated out status not naming the user but stating that we were surprised that a user stating to be from a certain profession is sending fakes. Turns out this status has been removed by we can only imagine Admin
What's the point in reporting fakes ?

It can take admin upto 48 hours to look at the report. |

Yes OP.
I had a profile using David Zepeda's photos and send me messages. He was also verified by a female who is verified by many (meeting verifications).
I had to report many times to the Admin and finally when he upload a new photo taken from the actor's instagram, then only it was removed. It took weeks.
I think Admin has to verify who is genuine - the reporter or the reported. |

Admin say you reported the profile at 4.02 this morning. Admins would probably be in bed at that time but even so reports can take up to 48 hours to deal as they can get hundreds of reports a day so a bit of patience is needed.
I will paste onto the next post what Admin do when checking reports and how if verified deal with any issues |

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.
******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).
Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.
Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:
