Is there any way to view mails that I've deleted in error or are they gone for good.

If it's a communication trail you can get it back via sent mail. Just send another message and when the other party replies the trail will be back (unless they delete as they go).

If single message then it's gone for good.

If you literally just deleted it, sometimes pressing back can bring it back to read and reply but will be gone when you go back to your inbox
