it's a new thing the owners have decided to do which is not good.
it happened to me, a friend decided to leave, they sent a message saying so but obviously it gets deleted so I didn't see it.
Thankfully we had other means of contact but this isn't always the case. I think a review of the way it's done should be put in place, maybe messages stay for a week or 2 so if they have messaged people saying they are leaving it gives the recipient chance to know that. |

That might be the case.
We were arranging a meet, had sorted the day and were just sorting the time and place.
She said that someone else was getting a bit stroppy in her messages, so maybe she'd had enough and deleted.
What concerns me is that she she might have messaged me alternative contact details without realising I wouldn't get them.
It will look like I'm ghosting her, which is a not nice. |

That might be the case OP. Or... he could have decided to quit because he knew he couldn't carry of a meet as a woman. |
