The hot lists shows pics which have attracted the most Fabs in the last 12 hours (not necessarily the first 12 hours after posting).
Only photos from verified users show there.
You'll only see the pics in their own category (or all). They may appear on different pages (e.g. the top Male pic at the moment only appears at the bottom of page 6 of All).
Only one pic is displayed per profile, so if it's important to get up the list, best to only post one pic at a time, rather than spreading Fabs across a number of pics.
Difficult to give any other advice without knowing the profile.
