Help, pics stolen and appearing on new profile

You can report a profile, even when they have blocked you. Click on the profile, use the Report User function in the Menu on left.
Also available on the mobile version under the menu options on the right hand list. |

It has gone for now, maybe it might have been taken down. It's hard not knowing the outcome to reports that we make. I know fab is ran by volunteers and they are very busy, but it's distressing not knowing. |

Is the friend who told you about it a new friend? Last week someone said that this had happened to them but, it turned out, that the “friend” who told them about the stolen pictures was the one who had set up the fake profile, as a way to create a bond.
I copy your pictures.
I use them to create a new profile.
I tell you someone has made a fake profile using your pics.
You are upset and grateful.
I take the new profile down.
We are now friends. |

You don't normally hear anything back from reports but in the case of stolen pics you do. You would have to be the person doing the reporting though.
If it is you who reports the profile you will get a mail saying it is being looked at and a mail when it is resolved. |
