my profile has been plagiarised quite heavily - well it is virtually word for word
i guess i should be flattered, but it has peeved me somewhat.
the owner of the profile has now blocked me so i am unable to report.
any assistance would be appreciated.

Personally, I would just counter block them (My Account, Block List type in username) and then change your profile slightly.
Oh and be flattered, maybe you have more imagination than them.

tried that and it advises to go back to the userpage and report from there !

Interesting point this.
Are there plagiarism rules around text copy on the site? Technically if the text is applicable to the copyist (so hes not purporting to be someone or something hes not) what are the rules there?

I had this happen to me to last year word for word of certain parts of my profile i mailed the person concerned and they said i had such a way with words that came across the way she could never describe it... i took it as a compilment lol |

there are large sections of it that have clearly been cut and pasted
i assume that direct ripping is OK with admin as no-one has been in touch to offer assistance and i have made it clear that i cannot report the profile directly as the owner has since blocked me |

you can report it, go on the profile and to the left there will be a report option.. REGARDLESS if your blocked.
alternatively contact admin direct. |

i have been able to block them now too and report thank you
i was doing a name search in browse as opposed to typing the profile name directly into the 'block' list - hence why it wasn't showing up as active to me  |

Ask the profile to compensate you buying you a site supporters extension.
They text the site supporters number but telling you the code, so you get to activate it  |

Meanwhile site owners/admin got their percentage take from Silver and Gold members...
Hope your issues are resolved... someone plagiarising would make me cross!
