Messages disappear

Anyone throw any advice our way...some of our messages seem to disappear from our sent and received....

There one day gone the next.

SirD and I haven't deleted them...

Can the sender delete them and do they leave our message box?

Hiding in the shadows

If the sender leaves the site, their messages now removed to.

This maybe the reason

I sent someone a message about 3 weeks ago, it was never read. I noticed tonight that it had just disappeared even though the user is still on site. Wtf?...

It automatically deletes itself after about a month.
