So yesterday a girl I've chatted to previously asked why I kept on making new profiles and mailing her. It turns out someone has been making profiles and pretending to be me / using my pictures. She can't find any of the messages now so we don't know any of the profile names in question.
I am quite careful with who I send pics to and always use the delete after reading option on here.
Is there anything I can do to investigate this further with admins? The contact links seem to suggest that admins don't respond to queries.
Any suggestions?
I'm a little startled by this all to be honest. God knows what they're getting up to on the back of my pics.
Thanks |

I had this 2 days ago. The pic was his profile pic of me in a couple which was 2 years ago. I contacted admin and also him. Turned out he had stalked me on here till I blocked him a while back. I recognised his pics. He's now blocked again and pic taken down. Unless you have the names it's very difficult |

"Yeah I wouldn't really care if it was body pics it's the fact my face is being spread around and obviously for no good..."
I never send face pics till I've talked them on the phone and they send. |

Unless you know which profile is using your pics I doubt there is anything Admin can do as there are many thousands of profiles on here.
But the suggestion to watermark your photos is a good one for the future. |

Any pic sent in a direct message can be saved to the users computer/phone. They dont have to be public or private profile pics. |

Just use the screenshot feature on most phones too to copy any pic or text..that's why we watermark ours |

And as the OP has said they delete their profile and with the new updates so do their messages. I think that's been the worst update ever implemented. Not everyone is going to think to screen shot the offensive messages until someone tells them to do it and by then it's most likely too late...poof they're gone until tomorrow.
Fab allows newbies to come back on and message straight away too. They should have a 72 hr baring on sending and receiving messages which would help this issue along with newbies being inundated with 100s of cock pics that put them off from their first moments of fab too. Just a thought. |

"Someone has removed the watermarks on my pictures and posted them on an account on Facebook as themselves.
So watermarks don't work. "
Yeah, you can remove a watermark, but it will ruin a picture if the watermark is in the middle of the picture and large and clearr..say between the neck and breast .. always place your watermark where if removed, it will ruin a picture once removed |
