I use my smart phone a lot, and use peoples WIFI (with the WAP key), to save on my roaming data.
If I was at someones house, used their WIFI, and they tried to verify me after, would this prevent them from verifying me or me them? |

You would come up on their IP address, which is defined by their routers connection to the ISP, not by your device connecting to their router.
Short answer is YES it would prevent the verification. Any device connecting from their router will present the same IP address to the outside world. |
