What's the script with complaining about scoundrels luring you in with other's pics?

Arranged a big date. Work schedule. New this n that. 100mph housework.

Then Mr So&So waddles in.

Long silence. 'What''s wrong?'.

'Well... that is not obviously you in the pics is it'

'Is. Eight years ago'

(See this is where I'm gullible ..as I still cannot accept someone is lying to my face).

So I kinda pressed on.

Turned into a cup of tea and chat and see you later (aye right )

Then I see his pics, I had spent quite a bit if time gazing at, on somebody else's profile.

Which I know are really his cos he has the cropped version ..and I was abLe to tell him about the stuff that was on the imposter'a larger uncropped version of the pic. (Big workie boots..which was a player in my deciding factor's it has to be said)

In grand scheme of things it's nowt . But I did spend a good deal of time on this tadger and I'm wondering if there is a bang to rights complaint's procedure.

Cos it really ruined my weekend. Well.. not really.

I love fab. Has changed my life. But their customers feedback/complaints is not their best feature.

Any advice please ?

Report the imposter's profile citing as you have here, the reason why you suspect the theft of pics - then block and delete any contacts - Save your sanity.

Thank you will do Marie. I kinda asked as I've complained about something once before (out of the blue violent threats) and had zero response.

That's why I thought I'd ask the members before to suss out any tips . Will try and see

Normally I would just delete and move on but I think these people need called out. For the quality of the site experience reasons.

The reporting procedure does work - albeit without feedback in most cases - anything else would be 'naming/shaming' and not allowed on site.

Watermarks. You add a script to the pic, with your username, before uploading.

Thank you will do Marie. I kinda asked as I've complained about something once before (out of the blue violent threats) and had zero response.

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.

******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).

Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.

Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:

Your feedback has been saved.

A website admin will shortly review your feedback and take the necessary action. After reviewing the evidence available to us, we may disable an account, remove a user, disable certain aspects of that user's account or issue a warning.

By leaving feedback you help improve the site for everyone who uses it. Thank you.******
