I'm not sure why this is but on Fabswingers whenever I click on any profiles, 99% of them always state that they are 'within 10' / 'within 20' miles.
They clearly aren't.
I'm also on Fabguys, yet on there, I always see that some people are 'within a mile / half mile / touching distance'.
Some of the same people are on both sites yet on Fabswingers - despite them stating they're in the exact same area - their distance is always totally different and wildy inaccurate.
Anyone know why this is?
Thanks in advance. |

The distance on the profile goes by the postcode they have on their profile. They may not have put their correct postcode.
Or if you mean their whos near distance.
That depends if they allow their phone access to their location, or they may not have refreshed their location recently. |

Hi Everyone,
When viewing my profile, at the bottom of the Menu (on the left) there is a icon of a house and another of the globe and then Distance 10 miles. My post code and location is correct.
How / where can I change this to 30+ miles or doesn't it make any difference?
Please help

It should say 'within 10 miles', that is because you are viewing you own profile, it says the same on mine when I look at my own profile.
When I look at yours it tells me you are 90+ miles away, which is correct ( I did a quick Google ). |
