We have asked this before but don't understand responses.
We have filtered out non verified profiles but receiving messages from people with no verifications only the green tick. Someone said they had chosen not to show them but that is not correct |

If you have blocked anyone without verifications via filters: Anyone WITH verifications i.e. with green tick OR green flag can mail you. Whether they show the verification text on their profile is not taken into account.

Still don't understand. If a green tick means they have been verified where are the verifications.
We have been contacted many, many times by individuals who have a green tick but cant show us any verifications |

If people have been verified ion the past, but the person who verified them has left the site the verification itself will go but the tick will stay in place. |

They can choose not to publish them. If they have the green tick they have been verified by others. If you're expecting people to only be able to contact you with *published* verifications you're misunderstanding how the filter works.

they could have left the site and the verification tick would still be showing
or like me why should i show someone verifications just as they demand so 
i know im genuine i can prove that by cam. phone and meet  |

The verifications are there to assist possible meets.Let us give an example of someone who had a tick contacted us but said he could not provide them. Can't believe there are all these people, mainly male who can't provide verifications if they have them. Cam does not give the sort of information a few verifications might.

They can choose not to publish them. If they have the green tick they have been verified by others. If you're expecting people to only be able to contact you with *published* verifications you're misunderstanding how the filter works.

Is it possible to show a notice on the profile that they have chosen to keep them hidden, like the notice you get when you choose not to show your friends list. |

So why when someone asks to meet us and we ask to view a verification they say they have them but won't show them to us. This is not just an isolated case |

Lots of women choose to keep them hidden, because of other bitchy women who send "keep of my man" type abusive mails.
Everyone has their reasons to choose to hide verifications.
Its up to you do decide what you want to do with that information (or lack of it).
However what you have said regarding your example, is most likely a cause of the verification was given by someone who has now left the site and the verification itself disappears as info given earlier, and they keep their verified tick.. obviously they wont be able to show or give them. |

but
if my verifications said im great in bed and that im great at everything would you read that as gospel!!!!
NO
verifications can be used for whatever reason if it was me and i am me i get a verfication by cam and phone then i know they are genuine |

if they don't show them... don't meet them! it is as simple as that...
