A few users seem to have been having problems access Fabswingers on three mobile network despite having adult blocks lifted. This is a problem at three network, it is NOT a problem at Fab.
First step: Call three customer services on 333 and explain the problem.
Still no joy? Submit a complaint on the three website:

As mentioned in other thread, if your handset allows it, change the APN three.co.uk to 3internet.
Googling this will tell you how to do it on your handset.
this worked for me until three get back to me.

Three could not fix this for me despite having adult website restrictions lifted. I have installed Opera web browser and it has cured the problem, I only had problems with safari |

We r on I phones on the 3 network and can't get on fab now but can still use other adult sites and it loads up fab flirts so it's only fab we can't use and have had no joy with 3 nothing unusal there then  |

Been suffering with this issue. I had access for about a week and then the handset died yesterday. Am downloading Opera mini as this seems to work, apparently......

if you go through the planet 3 way
you will get blocked or not authorised
but, if you go onto the yahoo search engine on your phone - and type - fabswingers.com/login
it should let you do it and the login page for fab should come up

Using opera works if accessing Fabs on the handset.
However, if your are using the handset as a modem, or to tether your pc to, this doesn't work.
I'm awaiting an email reply from three about this. |

Just to confirm that this works, but I have no idea how this might affect your billing, so at your own risk!!!!:
On my phone, so it should be similar depending on model,
Settings - Wireless and network - Mobile networks - Access Point Names - New APN
The following are the only fields I've set:
Name: 3Internet
APN: 3Internet
MCC: 234 (Default)
MNC: 20 (Default)
Authentication Type: None (Default)
APN Type: internet
All other fields are "Not set".

Have you downloaded the correct Opera? There are 2:
"Opera Mini always uses Opera’s advanced server compression technology to compress web content before it gets to a device. The rendering engine is on Opera’s server.
Opera Mobile is a full Internet browser for mobile devices. The full web-rendering engine – Opera Presto – is run on the phone using the phones’ hardware to download and display webpages."
I think it is Opera Mini's "Opera’s advanced server compression technology" that gets round the restriction as you are accessing their site, not www.fabswingers.com! |

I 'think' that its a back end change how they deal with adult sites and how they are filtered which has resulted in some (not all) people not getting access to some adult sites.
I have replied to their blog about the issue and have a moderator reply to me asking for account info so they can look into this. I have replied and await their further response, which will be sometime next week I expect. I will keep you informed.
The change to 3internet seems a common workaround listed on the 3g forums with no mention of billing issues.

When I first joined the Three network there was a filter on my browser that stopped me accessing Fab when using 3G. After one phone call to 333 this was resolved but I had to wait 4 hours.
Only a few days ago I extended my silver membership by text and to my surprise I could not access Fab after. It took three calls to 333 before it was finally resolved.
I believe if you are on pay as you go this is more of a problem than if you have a contact with Three. Just be persistent and you will finally get an operator who will resolve your problem. |

i'm on three and never had any problems getting on to fab. i go through planet3 and fab is one of my faves. the only issue i have is the time it takes to change page and post things.  i am on a contract so that may make a difference. |

Is this problem just with 3 phones or there dongles also?
I'm asking as we are switching to a 3 contract in the next few days if they let us have the contract that is lol

My wife and I had same problem on our Samsung S,I called 3 and spoke to someone but didnt really have confidence in him-told me had done something to my acc but would take 24hrs to activate....it didnt!! Tried using Opera but didnt work,finally tried changing the internet settings in phone as suggested by a previous post and hey presto,am back on Fab!! |

Mine was working for a while (on the three.co.uk APN) but as my home broadband has now gone off Im tethering to my Three phone and wont work, so had to swap APN's back to 3internet.
As far as I am aware, Three dongles use the 3internet APN so will be fine.
I am emailing Three back and forth just now. Ill repost when I get more news.

The problem can be solved instantly by downloading the opera mini web browser to your phone and access fabswingers through it instead of your standard browser. Even if you haven't lifted your adult restrictions, you can still access any adult content through opera mini. Hope this helps fabbers. |

Well it took me 4 phone calls, each saying they couldn't find a problem and they said it was fab's fault. Finally I spoke to someone today who seemed to know what they were doing....they said there was one thing try and to try again in 4 hour, success. Wish I'd asked what he was trying. X |

Possibly sounds like a cookie issue try checking your cookie settings on your mobile OR try another browser if you can download one e.g. operate mini

This is the same problem everyone else is having. Check out the instructions in first message on the thread so call 333 and try that if no joy use the complaint form link we posted.

I've just downloaded opera mini for I phone
I'm sure you can get it on android too it has worked a treat I've got better graphics and the speed is also greatly improved I've now got my FAB back really simple fix
That's a finger stuck up at the three network they have no right to censor our web browsing |

my friend cant get on at all using opera or going through the 3internet. she has tried everything thats been said on here. 3 called her back today and said it must be a problem with the sites server as it has lifted the age restrictions so she should be able to get on.
any ideas anyone?? |

Re 3 Dongles. If you take your dongle to a three store and verify your age they will unlock all adult sites for you. You can also do this over the phone by making a credit card payment of £1 which they recredit you.
Re tethering of 3 phones. Three "refuse" to unlock phones for adult content, after talking with one of their customer reps, they explained it is so that a child cant pick up your phone and access objectionable material.
I have had partial success tethering my phone and using the opera browser (with turbo mode active) I can log in to the site, browse and post in forum (this post) and send messages. The only thing I have been unsuccessful with is chat!!!
I am going to try using Firefox with the "tor" plugin and see if this proxy server software will give us a workaround for the whole site until 3 see sense. But I doubt they will.

Pleased to report a 90% success. Unfortunately the tor button project has been shelved. But if you download the Tor browser bundle. It will let you bypass the tethered phone problem. even allowing you into chat. But so far I cant make webcams work. 
The tor browser bundle is a tor client (anonymous proxy system) and an older version of firefox patched into a runable, portable file. Not a permanent fix but it will help in the mean time. |

opera doesn't work for me on my Android phone but opera mini does work. give that a try.
all adult sites are blocked on my 3 phone but not on opera mini. been meaning to find out how it bypasses it but keep forgetting |

Seriously just ring them up and explain to them you can't get on certain websites, they will report your problem to the "technical team" who will then ring you back within 72 hours, they will resolve the problem!!
I had the same issue but one phone call and it was fixed, and don't worry about being embarrassed telling them what site you can't get on, as there in India anyway and struggle to understand you when you tell them your name, nevermind knowing what fabswingers is lol.......just ring them!!!! |

Having problems accessing with my iPhone used to be ok until this week. Phoned Three who said I have no adult restrictions. Passed problem to technical team who called me back to say should be resolved within 72 hours. Guy is going to phone me nxt week to see if working ok. The lady I spoke to first didn't want to know the name of website I was having problems with!! Lol. I did offer to say but she was happy with a site with adult content! Lol |

Doh!! I had switched to wifi hence why it worked!! Still not working through 3G connection plus a few other sites not working. Have downloaded the opera mini app and works fine through that but I still want Three to resolve the issue as shouldn't have to use a different browser!! |

I never had a problem accessing Fab until my phon was sent away for repair. It cam back this morning and couldn't access fab. Ive just downloaded Opera mini browser and it's sorted.

My girlfriend uses a Three 3 month/3gb data sim in her Samsung Omnia Windows 7 phone and she is unable to access Fab unless we use a proxy server. We have already rang Three about it, and they have told us that data sims are restricted, and they have no plans to remove it. In Nottingham Three has the best 3g coverage with O2 being the worst. |

I had this problem...after the first call they lifted the adult block...still problems. I called again and they escalated the issue to get an engineer to look at it...two days later an engineer rang up, said that they had identified an issue and resolved the issue. They let Mr test it for the next two days without any problems...I am now browsing with no issues at all. For once, 3 have solved a problem and have been great in their communication too |

I lost access on Friday night, sent them a shitty message as it's the 3rd time in 3 months, by the time I got home after work on Saturday it was back on again. Think though I wished I had paid extra and stayed with orange and when my contract ends, I think I may just go back to them |

Had this problem on my iPhone on 3 for about a week. All other adult content was fine Inc Fab Flirts. Checked with 3, they said other users had this issue too and they were working to resolve it. This was Friday and I'm now sending this post on it, so fixed (for me, anyway).
How much fun it was spelling fabswingers.com phonetically to an Indian call centre. Lol |

Got this at lunchtime today when I tried to log onto Fab, in fact even when I typed it into the search engine, it made no difference. Perhaps you can tell me what it means

I had that, 72 hrs, if you check my comment where I said that to see when it was, I am still waiting but its sorted anyway, on Sunday, and that definitely wasnt 72 hrs |
