Can't seem to send messages, says to try again in a few hours and the block will have cleared?!

clear the cookies in your browser, or try another browser or a mobile.
this happens sometimes.
And make sure the other person has not blocked you either
try Firefox.
and reset your browser.
That happens alot with google chrome, because chrome works from the cache 90% of the time to save bandwidth and and speed, instead of working from the sites cache
