I travel the UK for work and have a 3 dongle to log on.

Does anyone have tips/experiences of camming using a dongle?

Yes watch out you don't go over your usage allowance.

Also carry a 5m USB lead so you can position the dongle for optimal reception.

Yes the usage bit did bother me. I'll try it out later this week and see how quicly it used data. Now to buy a cable!.

I have had a 3 dongle for over 2 years and have never had a problem camming - which I do a reasonable amount. Never gone over my usage allowance either so you should be fine. x x

Likewise, had a 5gb limit and never went over even when away 4 nights a week, using chat and cams and using it for work too.
