Hi. Has the site massively reduced the number of messages which can be sent every few hours? We wanted to cancel a party due to snow, but after just eight messages the site said we would have to wait a few hours before we could send any more. This is a bit crazy. We understand that there is a concern about spam, but the new limit is far too low if we are organising a group meet. |

Is this likely to happen if we send messages about an event? (60 to 80 msgs?)
We are part of a team that do one a year, and have never had any problems in the past, just wondered if this is something new you have introduced?  |

I'd assume the recipients would also be on your friends list?
Use a status as a statement that you've unfortunately cancelled and have run out of messages
I'd guess all would see that,I appreciate it isn't very personal, but it would be at least something if you were against the clock in contacting people

OK, but trying to send DIFFERENT messages to lots of people, when trying to communicate the same thing, is very difficult. Cutting and pasting is the only way. Really not happy about this. |
