Is it possible to refuse an unwanted validation?
It’s an interesting example of sussing a male half of a couple playing away and therefore us not wanting to accept it.
At a club recently we bumped into a the male half of a couple we’d met socially some years back. At the recent meet we played with him and another couple who also knew him, confusingly as a single guy, especially after we asked him if he was still with his partner, whom he said was fine with him playing as a single.
We validated his couple profile after the meeting but they seem to have chosen not to display it.
We then realised that it was probably because his partner didn’t know he plays as a single guy and our validation only referred to him. Guess it’s only him who logs in to the site.
He mailed us from their couple profile this weekend to invite us to play with them, we politely declined as we were busy and asked if they’d received our validation, we had expected one back as he’d had a good time.
He then sent a validation, but one referring to our social some years back not his recent solo encounter.
It’s obvious (especially as we’ve found his single guy profile) that he’s playing away and was covering his tracks.
We naturally don’t want to accept the devious validation but only seem to be able to choose not to display it.
How can we delete it? We’re assuming he won’t take kindly to us mailing him to ask him to remove it his end (if he indeed can?) |

Ah, yes I guess that’s the solution, we’ll block both his couple and single profiles...
Feel sorry for his girlfriend, especially as as a couple they don’t meet single guys! |
