Can anyone advise if it is allowed to send my mobile phone number to someone I want to meet? When I try, I get a warning for potentially sending spam, the first time it happened I thought it was the wording so I changed it and tried again - I got 10 hours of being banned from messaging for my efforts!!
I have since experimented and found out its my phone number thats the problem.
Today I tried again and failed to send my number, so asked the guy I was messaging to send me his number and it worked.
I cant understand why my number is a problem and his wasnt? |

Try sending it to me see if that makes a difference lol???? |

Don't think there is any problem sending via a private message, but not allowed on adverts or in chat. |

This happens with my number too so I need to split it eg 12345 545 333

Its the same ban that is given for any personal contact details, so that would include skype or kik addys, emails, social media contact details etc |

Admin make it clear, as you will have seen in the previous thread you posted on about contact from admin if you had returned to it, what happens to reports etc |

There are loads of profiles with there mobile numbers on them and I've seen them in status updates! |

This block was a false positive with part of the specific number you sent -- we've changed things and it should be OK from now
We sometimes block things that can be used innocently but have previously been used by spammers
